Hey guys! ♡

Thanks so much for tuning in today!

Winter is here! The leaves have fallen, the temperature is dropping, and peppermint mochas are on sale! So, pull up a chair next to your fireplace/wood stove/Netflix fireside video, get your hot chocolate, put on your fuzzy socks, and let's talk about winter beauty products!

BTW - Is it just me or does 2021 feel like it flew by? I know everyone always says that when the holiday season begins, but seriously... I blinked and it's freaking December! I don't even have Christmas decorations up yet!!! And Christmas is my favorite season.

Oh well, it's not like decorations are left up until February or anything........... (please don't tell me that I'm the only one)

I love trying out new beauty products! I don't know if it's just me, but I always say I am going to become a minimalist and "that girl" and then I see a sale on beauty products.

For the past few years, I've stuck with the same stuff because, to be honest, my depression was so bad that I rarely even wore makeup. So, I never really needed to buy anything besides tinted bb cream, powder, eyeliner, and mascara.

It's been 12+ years, but I finally feel like I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and I am starting a new chapter. And with that... MAKE OVER!!! (Obviously!)

Today I wanted to share my latest haul from e.l.f.! Literally the best affordable makeup brand out there. I have only been disappointed a couple of times, but it was because the colors did not look good with my skin tone (super fair, cool-toned). It's really easy to accidentally buy just one shade darker and then I look like a fake tan gone bad.

Highlights:

Cruelty-free

Paraben-free

100% Vegan

Inexpensive

So, let's get into it!!!

1. Beautifully Bare Sheer Tint Finishing Powder (Fair/Light)

This powder adds a nice matte finish to your makeup without having to apply too much. Also, it comes with an applicator.

2. Flawless Brightening Concealer (Fair 10 C)

I'm not really sure how I feel about this. I'm not a huge fan of the pump & brush applicator. The concealer containers matches the product's color perfectly. Personally, I like their camo concealer better. This one is just hard to build up on and it doesn't really conceal. It might be better for lighter imperfections but did little for my dark circles and red acne scars.

3. Blush (Blushing)

One thing I love about their blushes is that it lasts *forever.* This color looked so promising. I thought it would be a dupe of Benefit Cosmetic's Dandelion Brightening Powder. The color is a few shades darker in person than in the photo. It's a really pretty/sparkly/pigmented blush, but I was personally hoping for a very pale pink.

4. Putty Eye Primer (White)

I got this to attempt to use it as white eyeliner for my lower lash line. It works fairly well!

5. Putty Eye Primer (Clay)

I got this to make a lower lash line eyeshadow smudge look.

6. No Budge Retractable Eyeliner (Coffee)

Changed from black eyeliner to dark brown and you guys... DO IT! It's not nearly as harsh as black eyeliner and gives your eye a softer look.

7. Ride or Die Lip Balm (Cheeky Cherry)

Looove the color! It's very rich and thick. It's a bit hard to get out of the tube and is a bit sticky, but the color is literally gorgeous.

8. Precision Eyeliner Brush

9. Mint Melt No Budge Eyeshadow Stick (Melt with Me)

This color is gorgeous! It's really pigmented and is a little sparkly. Super cute!

10. Mint Melt Gloss (Mint Chocolate)

This is a lovely nude color. It's very sheer, like a tinted lip gloss. It tingles a little but not too much. The scent is a little minty, but enough to be headache-inducing.

11. Small Angled Brush

12. Angled Eyeliner Brush

13. SRSLY Satin Lipstick (Sugarplum)

Can we talk about this color?! It's stunning! It's such a beautiful, rich purple berry. It's not as dark as I thought it would be and I actually like the color more in person.

14. Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow (Flirty Birdy)

This. Is. Amazing. I might have to buy all of the colors, not even kidding.

E.l.f. makeup is wonderful! I am very happy with my latest haul! And, with Black Friday sales, I got all of this for less than $50. You can't get better than that.

Their low prices give you the opportunity to rotate through new products without breaking the bank. (Also, you don't feel like you're losing a limb when you are throwing away expired products). Highly recommend!

Thanks for hanging out with me today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
